The ability to post attachments, such as images of flyers or invitations to various activities, has now been added to the forums and community login pages. You can now have conversations with community members! The ability to create groups to collaborate on the platform has also been upgraded and is more functional. In addition to adding attachments to posts, you can now add profile images for your user page. Please keep the attachment memory size as small as possible to keep the load on the server low. Thanks so much, and enjoy!

When designing a website for the Faith, we highlight design cues from the most elegant and functional designs, especially those elements which convey warmth and love above all else. When possible, especially on the page about community building and service, we include many pictures of people, our fellow Bahá’ís in action! The inclusion of pictures of Bahá’í shrines, temples and gardens which expound on the vision of the teachings are equally key. The dark blue menus also make a professional statement, it conveys a connection to the sacred, to timeless spiritual wisdom and to a sense of permanence, as if to say: “come work with us for unity!” This sense of welcoming is a common theme throughout the website.
Our logo contains a nine-pointed star with stylized borders of different undulating widths, this imitates “ink on a page” and is symbolic of the flow of Revelation to humanity from the Supreme Pen. Our star is a common symbol of the Bahá’í Faith, nine representing Bahá, the single highest one digit number, is a divine number, a symbol of inclusiveness and hope, oneness of religion, unity in diversity, and fulfillment of prophecy. Within the star is an image of the Arizona sunset with the Saguaro cactus. This also helps create a tie-in to the old website and maintain continuity. Visual designs that separate both concepts and quotes on pages contain symbology of “new horizons” and “mountains and valleys.” The golden and yellow accents remind us of the Arizona sun, connecting us with our local environment while also being regal and conveying a sense of awe and wonderment. The message behind all this is to proclaim in solidarity to all humanity: we have open hands and open hearts!
